Privacy policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026. Rafael Guzman, an individual doing business as EzClip (“EzClip,” “we,” “us”), based in New Jersey, United States, is responsible for this policy. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
We collect what we need to make your creator and your videos, bill you and support you. We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it for targeted advertising. Our website counts visits anonymously with our own analytics: no cookies, no identifiers, no ad pixels and no session recording. Your ratings and comments improve your next videos and our own quality checks; they don’t train or fine-tune foundation AI models.
This information comes from you, from Stripe when you pay, and automatically from your browser when you visit.
Rafael Guzman, doing business as EzClip, is responsible for personal information we use to operate accounts, billing, security, support and our own service improvement. When a business customer supplies personal information for us to create videos on its instructions, we process that information on the customer’s behalf under our Data Processing Addendum.
We use your briefs, creator selections, scripts, uploaded materials, approvals and requested corrections to make and deliver your videos. We use ratings, selected reasons, comments, approvals, download requests and approximate viewing completion to improve your next videos and our internal quality checks, prompts and production choices. This does not train or fine-tune foundation models. We do not put one customer’s private briefs, scripts or comments into another customer’s videos. We may retain statistics de-identified so they cannot reasonably be linked to you, your account or your projects. We do not attempt to re-identify them and require recipients to follow the same restriction.
We also use your information to bill you and send trial confirmations, reminders, receipts and renewal or price notices; to answer support requests and handle reports and takedowns; and to prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and meet legal duties such as tax and consent records. A new use of identifiable information outside the purposes described here requires updated notice and, where required, separate consent. We do not use your private materials or videos in public marketing without separate permission.
We use contracted providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, email, support and AI-assisted text, image, voice and video production. The list below is our Subprocessor List: it identifies the providers that receive personal information from us, their purpose and the data they receive. Where a provider’s processing location is not confirmed, we say so. We give each only the information needed for its task. Providers process it to provide their service to us under their business terms. Some providers, including payment providers, also process limited information for their own legal, fraud-prevention and compliance purposes under their privacy notices.
Since October 15, 2026, our production system enforces this list: customer work can only reach the providers below, and every other provider is blocked for customer processing. The same list applies to EzClip’s own channel.

Social networks you choose. If you connect accounts for posting, the networks you pick (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, X or Bluesky) receive the versions and captions we publish for you, and your connected social identity, through Zernio. They act under their own terms and privacy policies as destinations you select; they are not our subprocessors.
Outside customer processing. Our website, ezclip.ai, is served by Vercel, which receives page requests, IP address and browser data. Our anonymous website analytics run on our own server at Contabo. Emails you send to support@ezclip.ai are received in our Apple iCloud Mail mailbox.
Provider changes. 2026-10-15: established an explicit customer-provider allowlist; other providers are blocked for customer processing. 2026-10-14: added Zernio (social posting). We list each new or replacement provider here, with its date, at least 30 days before it receives customer data covered by our Data Processing Addendum.
Last updated October 15, 2026. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people’s rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer under section 24 of our Terms. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The website counts visits with EzClip Insights, our own analytics, which runs on our own server; there are no advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts or session replays. It sets no cookies or identifiers: it sees the page, screen size, the links and buttons clicked, scroll depth and which form fields are started, never what you type, and nothing links these events to you or to one another. If you accepted optional analytics in the EzClip app, the website reuses that choice and its random visitor ID, which you can change in the app. The website also keeps two small values in your browser for the current tab: whether you have seen the sound prompt, and a channel you share as inspiration on the start page. Your start-page picks live in the page address. Stripe’s payment field uses Stripe’s own essential cookies for payments and fraud prevention. The EzClip app uses essential cookies for sign-in and security. Our Cookie Policy lists each one.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use browser Do Not Track signals to change essential service processing. If we introduce sale, sharing or targeted advertising, we will provide the required choices and honor applicable universal opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control.
We send service emails: trial confirmation and reminder, receipts, renewal and price notices, delivery and support. They are part of the service while you have an account. If we ever send marketing email, every message will have an unsubscribe link that works within 10 business days. We don’t send text messages.
We keep account settings and delivered videos while your account is open and they are needed to provide the service. We review inactive accounts at least annually and give at least 30 days’ notice before removing stored files for inactivity. Production files are kept only while needed to deliver your video and handle an open correction or dispute. Written feedback is removed after 180 days or earlier when a verified deletion request applies. Ratings and interaction data remain personal information while linked to an account or project; only genuinely de-identified statistics may be retained afterward. Security logs and support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, support, disputes and legal duties. Website analytics events are kept for 2 years.
We complete deletion from active systems within 30 days after receiving a request that we can verify. If we cannot verify your request, we explain what is needed within the same 30 days. Backup copies are kept out of ordinary use, expire on their routine schedule, and have deletion reapplied if restored. Billing, tax, legal-consent and legal-hold records are retained separately for the applicable duty. Proof of automatic-renewal consent is retained for at least three years or one year after the subscription ends, whichever is longer. We explain any retention exception and its period when responding to your request. Deleting your account cancels future subscription renewal. Files you downloaded or posted elsewhere remain under your control.
You may request access, a copy, correction or deletion at support@ezclip.ai or /data-deletion. We verify requests using information reasonably necessary for the request; do not send an ID document unless we explain why it is needed and provide a secure method. We respond within 45 days after receiving your request, or sooner where required. We complete deletion within 30 days after receiving a request that we can verify. If we cannot verify your request, we explain what is needed within the same 30 days. If we deny a request, we explain why and how to appeal by replying “Privacy appeal.” We respond to appeals within 45 days, or sooner where required, and explain how to contact the relevant state regulator if the appeal is denied. Authorized agents may submit requests with evidence of authority. We do not discriminate for exercising these rights.
California residents have the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, where they come from, why we use them and who receives them, all listed on this page. In California’s terms, we collect identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, and audio and visual material, plus biometric information only if you choose Clone yourself and sign the separate release, as described in “Face, voice, biometric information and minors” below. We don’t sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and haven’t done so in the past 12 months. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the service you asked for, so there is nothing to opt out of or limit. Authorized agents may make requests with written proof of authority. We don’t disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
EzClip is for adults 18 and older. If you choose Clone yourself, we collect a short recording of your face and voice, and the facial and voice information derived from it, only after you read and sign a separate written notice and release in the Studio. We use it only to make your own videos and to confirm it is you. We never sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from it, and we share it only with the providers that process it to make your videos. You can delete your double at any time in Settings; we delete the recording and the derived information when you do, when you close your account, or within 3 years of your last interaction, whichever comes first. You may only clone yourself, never another person. If you believe an account belongs to someone under 18, contact support@ezclip.ai. If we confirm that an account belongs to a minor, we close it, stop further service processing and delete its personal information, except for narrowly limited records we are legally required to preserve. We separately handle safety reports and applicable child-protection duties. Never upload someone else’s face or voice.
We never sell, lease or trade biometric information, or otherwise profit from it. If we hold any, we delete biometric identifiers and information when the purpose they were collected for is done, or within 3 years of your last interaction with us, whichever comes first, unless the law requires us to keep them. You may ask for earlier deletion at support@ezclip.ai; we complete verified requests within 30 days.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure. Don’t send passwords, payment-card details, government IDs or highly sensitive information by email. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you as the law requires.
EzClip is built for people in the United States. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, as listed above.
